Rules for the size and weight of checked-in baggage vary from company to company. Within the same company, there are also different rules depending on the flight destination, starting place and ticket type. Therefore, you should contact your airline or travel agent to get information about your carry-on baggage.
As a general rule, you can always take goods purchased in the airport shops on board - this also applies to Ryanair flights from Billund Airport.
If you are going on a package holiday or you are using Ryanair, we recommend that you are at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
If you are travelling with other scheduled airlines, we recommend that you are at the airport at least 1½ hours before departure.
You can use the airport's website to search for airline tickets, charter flights and hotel accommodation.

The reason why you have to show your boarding card, is because of requirements for documentation to SKAT, redarding correctly paid VAT and duty.
This documentation will take place through the boarding card, where the final destination is validated. In short terms, we must be able to explain whether you travel within or without the EU.
Yes, you may bring food for your child in carry-on baggage. It is allowed to bring infant formula, porridge and purées (powdered or premixed). Note that the container with baby food can contain more than the normal permitted 100 ml.
You may also bring a thermos of water to make baby food with. However, hot water is available both in the airport and on the plane.
It is possible to hire so-called Airshells that take extra good care of your belongings in transit to the destination.
To hire these please visit www.airshells.com, which supplies the desired Airshells at the airport. You receive it by showing the rental contract to a service assistant in the check-in area.
If you have things you do not want to bring on your trip, you have the opportunity to store them at Baggage Service.
Baggage Service is located just opposite the car hire counters in the welcome area and it is open 08:00-24:00. It costs DKK 30 a day to store your belongings.
If you did not find an answer to your questions, please do not hesitate to contact Billund Airport using e-mail: email@example.com.
