Handling of lost and found
Airport Security store lost and found items, which have been found on planes as well as in and around Billund Airport.
Money, purses and passports will be handed over to the Police as soon as possible. Articles purchased in connection to a trip (chocolate, candy, perfume and other dutiable goods), will immediately be submitted to Customs.
The items will be kept for about four weeks after which the Police will undertake electronics with serial numbers and jewelry as well as other valuable items.
The remaining components are in agreement with the Police handed over to the Danish Red Cross, which uses it for a common helpful purpose. It is therefore not possible to obtain these items after they have been handed over to the Danish Red Cross.
