From 12 January 2009 the ESTA - Electronic System for Travel Authorization shall be used to obtain the permission to enter the USA. Travellers, who do not need a visa, shall supply information to the Homeland Security Authorities via a form on the internet, the application must be submitted at least 72 hours before the beginning of the flight.
